Mindfulness:
- is a secular meditation technique, easily learnt. which calms your mind, enabling you to pay attention to your experiences with acceptance and compassion
- It consists or simple practices and exercises, I to 60 minutes long
- involves settling your mind, following your breath and relaxing in the present
- moment
- begins with sitting, focussing awareness on your body and breath and allowing
- thoughts to arise without following them
- can be used whilst doing anything, including sitting, standing, lying down, eating, walking, driving and so on
